Congratulations Class of 2011!
We are pleased to announce that we have made arrangements so your senior pictures can be taken at the Biomedical Communication’s studio located in the Calder Library for your convenience.
The last day for appointments will be Friday, February 25 in order for them to be in the Commencement Program, so do not wait until the last minute to schedule an appointment.
Please mark this on your calendar as no further communications or reminders will be sent.
Procedure: Effective IMMEDIATELY, please call 305-243-6783 to make an appointment (Monday thru Friday from 8:30 to 5 p.m.)
And before you go for your appointment at Biomedical Communications studio (basement of Calder Library), please call to confirm just in case both photographers are away on last-minute photo-shoots.
Your studio sitting will last up to 15 minutes during which time, up to 10 photos will be taken so you can choose the one you like for the composite that will hang in the hallway of RMSB.
The gown, hood and cap will be supplied.
The hood for your gown needs to be attached to a top button or tie so a blouse/dress with buttons would be suitable for women and a shirt/tie for men.
If this is not possible, it can probably be attached to your hood using safety pins.
-
For men, light colored shirts look best (don’t forget a tie).
-
For ladies, the color of the blouse doesn’t matter as it is usually not visible from under the gown.
There is a restroom facility with mirrors near the studio if you need to apply makeup or check your hair.
If you have to miss your appointment, please call in advance to reschedule.
There is a $25 sitting fee (which includes jpg), due at the time of your appointment.
Optional: select from the following packages — each $25:
· Package A : 1 8×10, 2 5×7, 12 wallets
· Package B: 2 5×7, 20 wallets
· Package C: 4 5×7, 12 wallets
· Package D: 1 8×10, 20 wallets
· Package E: 28 wallets
· Other sizes (up to poster dimensions) are available.
Minor digital retouching is included (redeye, skin blemishes, tan lines, etc.) Don’t be shy about asking for retouching, everyone does it.
Please address any questions or concerns directly to Biomedical Communications.
Let me stress once more the importance of scheduling your appointment NOW and not waiting until the last few days.
Sincerely,
Jim Stegall
